In the Shadow of the Lighthouse
What happens when someone you love loves someone you hate?
Four friends find out the answer as they spend a week at the beach, before one of them gets married and moves away. The arrival of her fiancé causes tension in the group, and triggers events that will change all their lives. A decade later, as the group convenes in the same house, the friends realize the cost of the choices they've made, and find betrayal and loyalty in unexpected places.
"In the Shadow of the Lighthouse" won eyeBLINK Tomorrow's Gold! New Work series, and had its world premiere at the Gallery Players Black Box Festival. This is "a beautifully observed piece, with a wonderful sense of humor," says Dan Lombardo, literary manager at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater.
